My thesis begins with an interest in the intersection of multiple perspectives of a single reality observation. These perspectives are not only visual or spatial, but are also shaped by time, identity, age, and memory.

The Rashomon effect refers to the phenomenon of the unreliability of eyewitness accounts, often seen as a shifting, almost distorted form that changes depending on the observer. The superimposition of these multiple viewpoints creates an intersecting area or a surreal condition that one can feel familiar yet strange.
